My hubby said it was the worst pizza he's ever had. On top of a long wait, then it's $8 more than a competitor's large for a just MEDIUM 🍕. He 💘s pizza, and doesn't usually complain 'bout any type he eats. But he was so disappointed especially bc others recommended it. 🤷 $25 for a lackluster medium pizza is such a bummer.

Pizza Shoppe on Prairieview much better. We stopped in here because we were in Platte City and it was very disapointing. Pizza was under done and toppings bland. Cold beer was good but we will stick to our usual PS.

The pizza was very good, the gave meat the wrong sandwich. All was a to go order. The wrong sandwich which was a meatball sub was a soggy nasty mess by the time I got to my destination 25 miles away. Called them right away, and they said they would make it right. But my friend I was delivering to was very disappointed.

Love this place. Stopped again for pizza take out. Got an ice cold draft (small) while we waited. Queen size is perfect for two.

Food was good but the prices are totally ridiculous, there's nothing that stands out that should make it that pricey. Way to expensive for what it is in my opinion.

Our family really liked it and we definitely would go again.

The "pink" salad dressing was the "bomb". First class dressing. The works pizza was great.

As we visit the Platte City area frequently I was curious about this store. It is typical pizza parlor with a strong family orientation, although beer is available. They have a decent selection of pies at typical prices. Service was good and friendly. While the pie was ok, it wasn't outstanding and the crust was too salty for my taste. While it's not going to be my top choice, I'd have no issue going back.

I wanted a pizza on Sunday and their not open. What's up with that?

Amanda and Frankie are two of my favorite people in the world. Their pizza is absolutely delicious and I have never had better ranch dressing in my life. Also, I could eat the garlic cheese bread every day.

Pizza was excellent, BUT about 8:30 pm or so a group of about 4-5 teenage girls showed up (to visit with the help), and service became non- existent after that. We finished our meal (and ran out of drink refills), waited about 15-20 minutes for the bill and finally had to go up to register (everyone was visiting in kitchen area), and ask if someone had our bill. Whoever the evening manager was last Tuesday evening needs to STOP trying to be a "friend" and start being a manager. Great food, but could have been much,...much better service.

Best Pizza in Kansas City!

Awesome people here, the Buffalo pizza is spicy with a perfect crop crust, and the beer is nice and cold. Has an old Chicago atmosphere and is a great family restaurant

The tables are always wet but the pizza has never let me down, and the staff is really nice - if overwhelmed around lunchtime. The BBQ chicken with extra pineapple is a personal favorite. Save some of your pink stuff from your lunch special salad for pizza-dipping.

Great local pizza chain, good pizza. If you like salad, get the"pink stuff" dressing it's amazing!! Sometimes service can be a little slow. Also I feel like their prices are a little high. But I do like their pizza. Again if you like salad, get a big salad and ENJOY!

The pizza and sandwhiches are delicious staff is friendly and we like to go on Chiefs Sunday to interact with staff!

We love Pizza Shoppe! But this one in Platte City is ran all wrong! We had a horrible waitress, instead of doing her job she just added gratuity to the check. I had to ask for things multiple times and then she forgot to being our check and charged us for items we didn’t have. While paying our bill we watched the cooks pull vape pens out of their pockets and smoke over all the food, put their hands do to their mouths and then continue making food. We will never be back and plan to call up there and share our experience with management and the corporate office.

When I accidentally called the wrong location and walked here to pick up my order, staff hopped to get my order prepared fresh here at this location. I was walking from a nearby hotel, so the prompt and cheerful service was most appreciated. (The food was yummy too!)

Terrible experience at 7pm on a Sunday. 14 minutes sitting at a table before anyone asked if we needed drinks. We were one of 4 tables in the dining room.When our food arrived we had no plates and no silverware. They had to wash silverware.Dining area seems fairly decent but the service certainly was lacking.Pizzas were not typical quality of Pizza Shoppe.

Great service and great pizza. I long for the day when a large pizza isn't a medium in disguise. This is true of all pizza places. U would highly recommend this place. Great ambience. $30 for a "large" with extra toppings, a kids mac & cheese (so good), and a tea. Great puzza, though. We will be back.
